We oppose renewing the Land Bank Real Estate Excise Tax (REET) in San Juan County due to concerns about its impact on housing supply and its financial efficiency.

 

The Land Bank's extensive land acquisitions seem unnecessary and we suggest redirecting resources towards managing current holdings and focus our efforts on addressing the pressing housing shortage.
